"dormir" is a 41-minute composition for electric guitar & electronics, written & performed by Seth Andrew Davis. The piece was written over the summer of 2020 and inspired by the music of Gerard Grisey and the Doom metal band Sleep. "dormir" contains one guitar sample warped and stretched over the entirety of the piece, exploring various forms of dissection and exploration of the electric guitar. This is the first in several releases by Davis featuring his work for electric guitar and electronics.
