We clashed, we challenged, we merged.
Within thousands and thousands of possibility,
the sounds you hear
created consciously or carelessly,
happened within this moment
in this particular reality.

out of the thousands,
of the possibilities
we yet to discover.

《千 - Thousands》 assimilates the artistic voices between Seth Andrew Davis and Chi Him Chik. By producing and reworking each other’s samples and ideas, Seth and Chi Him create a musical world where their artistic aesthetics and styles coexist and codevelop.
In this album, five tracks are produced by Seth and the other five by Chi Him. The middle track Thousands is an extra compilation track produced from all the other tracks in this album.This album was created during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Seth and Chi Him exchanged samples and ideas between Kansas City (US) and Basel (Switzerland).

Pigeon & Raven, a duo of E-Guitar/Electronics (Seth Andrew Davis) and Saxophone/Computer (Chi Him Chik), is a collaboration project about merging worlds and minds, views and sides, aesthetics and ideas, and to create music, or one may call them noise, that at the same time reflect the timely matters, and to hopefully bring healing and calming powers to their fellow listeners.

Seth Andrew Davis is a performer and composer from the Kansas City area. Davis is an active member in the Kansas City music scene and has been involved in various groups/projects that span various genres including jazz, rock, classical/new music, electronic, electro-acoustic, and free improvisation.

Chi Him Chik is a multimedia performer, improviser, composer, and harsh noise artist from Hong Kong. Interested in working with human emotions and interactions, Chi Him aims to manipulate and challenge his audiences through sounds, moving images, and beyond.
