Back in April of last year, Scott Dean Taylor and I met up to record in KC at Weights and Measures Soundlab. We had talked about recording for awhile and with Maria Elena Silva and Scott passing through KC on tour, we thought this would be the perfect time to do so. The results of the session is an upcoming duo album entitled Infidels.

The title and track names of the album are inspired by the 1984 Bob Dylan album of the same name. Scott thought I should play my Stratocaster on the session cause it sounded like Mark Knopfler’s tone on Infidels. After the session I re-listened to the Dylan album for the first time in years, and after talking with Scott thought we should name our album and the track titles after Dylan’s.
